Learning Democracy Together

Political party youth hone leadership skills by learning key aspects of political practice in Myanmar, the importance of ethnic politics and the concept of federalism in the context of the country.

The Political Education Programme for Junior Politicians- 2018 offered 40 junior politicians, active political party members who wish to pursue a career in politics, the chance to participate in a 5-day workshop focused on key aspects of political practice in Myanmar. It addressed political institutions and their relationship to one another, the importance of ethnic politics in the context of the country, conceptions of federalism and address practical concerns such as the analysis of the media and methods for representing constituents.
